With the exception of the shop, Vially tested every single page on three.ie with a range of assistive technology tools. Testing took place on multiple platforms and operating systems, making sure that no matter how a customer accessed the site they would have a good experience.
Testing on windows was conducted using the Jaws for Windows and NVDA screen readers, with behaviour examined in both Edge and Chrome. IOS testing used Apples Voiceover Screen Reader, and Talkback was used for testing on Android.
Three’s website was tested against three levels of WCAG compliance, A, AA and AAA. The AAA standards in particular set a really high bar. This testing would give Three a clear picture of not just what they needed to do in order to be compliant, but what they needed to do to reach a gold standard of accessibility.
